Can you make an appointment with a Dutch installer online?
4 of the 26 Dutch installer websites we scanned (15%) have a button or link to plan an appointment. None use a dedicated booking system. Most work through a contact form instead: 20 of the 26 have one.

A small market on the map
OpenStreetMap lists only 26 independent installers with a website across the six Dutch cities we sampled, so we scanned all of them. Treat the percentages here as indicative: one site moves a figure by about 4%.
Offerte first, agenda later
Dutch installers mostly work from a quote request ("offerte aanvragen") rather than a bookable slot. 20 of the 26 sites have a form for it, and 5 offer chat or WhatsApp for quick questions.

We drew independent businesses with a website from OpenStreetMap in six cities per country (the Netherlands), skipped chains and social media profiles, and picked up to 60 at random per sector and country.
Our scanner read each homepage and its contact pages the way a visitor's browser receives them, and looked for booking systems, booking buttons, chat, forms and published email addresses. It checked that every published email domain can receive mail.
0 sites were left out of the figures because they did not load or no longer belonged to the business. We contacted nobody and name no business.
